Sock Elastic:Elastic according to the thickness,the elastic size can include(90#,100#,140#,180#)

There is also a kind of spandex,called double-wrapped spandex,which is very thin and flexible and can also be used as sock elastic,and it is also more expensive.

2.Socks Commonly Used Yarn Shorthand and Characteristics

General comb cotton (C):21S/C,32S/C,40S/C (commonly used yarn is 21 and 32)(S:branches,number of roots)

Combed cotton (JC) :32S/JC,40S/JC,60S/JC(40 and 60 pieces in common use)

Characteristics:Fine and soft,short fiber,different length,natural cotton luster,soft but not smooth.

Acrylic yarn (A):20S/A,24S/A,28S/A(usually blended with a little wool to make imitation wool socks)

Features:elasticity and fluffiness similar to natural wool, warmth is not under wool fabric,even about 15% higher than similar wool fabric,poor moisture absorption,easy to stain,wearing a dull feeling.

The imitation cashmere acrylic fiber has the smooth,soft and elastic feel of natural cashmere,good warm insulation and air permeability,and excellent dyeing performance of acrylic fiber,which makes the acrylic cashmere products more bright and beautiful,delicate and smooth.

Polyamide yarn(Nylon)(PV)

Features:Strong,good wear resistance,ranking first among all fibers.Its wear resistance is 10 times that of cotton fiber.

Very good wear resistance,moisture absorption and elasticity.

Nylon is mostly used in high-end sports socks,outdoor equipment.

Wool yarn (W)

Features:Soft,can produce insulation effect.Wool is inherently absorbent,absorbing water equivalent to one-third of its weight

Bamboo Fiber (B)

Bamboo fiber products have natural antibacterial and bactericidal effects

Bamboo fibril can be pure spinning and blended,wool spinning,linen spinning,silk spinning,cotton spinning,color spinning,semi-worsted spinning

It should not be washed at high temperature,nor should it be washed by machine,and should be washed by hand at low temperature.

Crystal silk/ice silk

Crystal silk is the monofilament of nylon,the composition of nylon 84%,spandex 16%.Features Fine and smooth texture,excellent feel,strong drape,smooth,wrinkle-proof.Because of its fine texture,good drooping,with a slight sense of silk,not easy to wrinkle,comfortable.

Viscose fiber - also called ice silk,viscose filament.The moisture absorption and air permeability of this fiber are better than that of ordinary viscose fiber,and it also has better shape preservation and drape property.

Spandex (SP)

Best elasticity,worst strength,poor moisture absorption,good light resistance,acid resistance,alkali resistance,wear resistance.
